About Me Hello! My name is Nichole, and I was drawn to art. I was born and raised in Louisiana in a family of creative people -- directors, photographers and designers to name a few. It was hard to find something that fully held my attention long because there were so many choices. I enjoyed being a part of it all. My true appreciation of the arts grew in high school when I entered the Talented Art program. My teacher/mentor there saw that my true talents lay in painting, portraiture in particular. She encouraged me to focus my work there and so I have. |
My passion for painting grew as did my skill level. When portraits of my friends and family began to be noticed, others wanted to have paintings as well. Here at my online gallery, you'll see that portraiture isn't the main focus of art. My artistic interests also include painting landscapes, floral and reproductions of original paintings. Murals are also considered. |
